Introduction:

When we talked about who can become a coach, we talked in length about different temperaments of people who can become a coach. And how you can study to be one or qualify to become a coach with your current knowledge and experience also.

Here I want to talk about training. Simply put, training can be viewed as group coaching. While in coaching, we usually focus on one client at a time, we sometimes also deal with couples, friends and families. However, the focus is on creating change towards a common goal and working in synergy.

When we extend this coaching format to more people, like a team, a group, or a company, we call it group coaching, which is also called training.

The word training can also be given to the act of acquiring certain skills and practicing them enough to be able to perform them to necessary satisfaction.

Coaching can also be viewed as acquiring soft skills like confidence, clarity, sensitivity, self respect, and self esteem, and then practicing the art so that it become a part of your personality.

These skills and the outcomes of these soft skills, namely goal setting, improved performance, effortless relationships, and sustained state of joy, can also be modules in the training.

NLP Exercise:

Most trainers base their training on certain tested and published psychology or behavioral principles. however, the people’s who write those principles are themselves coaches.

After working with oneself, self application, and applying the principles with hundreds of clients, testing various methods for their outcomes and documenting these results sincerely, the concepts become standards of emulation by others. People like us can just pick up these tested and standardized concepts, make minor changes according to the context, and be assured that they will deliver the results.

However, being the coach that creates these standard processes or being the coach who extends these principles to one or many clients at a time isn’t a big deal if you are working with Neuro Linguistic Programming.

While learning NLP from Ridhima Dua, who has the Best Online course for NLP right now, I realized that she uses different experiences from her own life and others in a metaphorical way. That made learning of basic concepts absolutely easy for me and so many others of my class.

NLP Learnings Example:

One of the learnings from her sessions is that the art of storytelling is wasted if it is there for the sake of it. Sometimes, coaches and trainers use metaphors and stories to create drama and using acting skills to create an emotional response in their audiences. while emotional responses can be very intense and sometimes the only thing that the audience takes back from the sessions, it means nothing if it is not backed by a specific intention. Backed with an intention of creating change, stories can be an effortless medium for long lasting change.

This is just one small example of how learning from Ridhima changes the way you experience public speaking, trading and addressing audiences from a stage.

Another part of training is creating modules and activities that can be used with many people at once. when a trainer administers a process, it is extremely important that every participant experiences a similar degree of change from the process. Keeping everybody engaged at all times had been a challenge trainers have faced through ages.

Conclusion:

This has not been an issue Ridhima faced since she became an NLP Trainer. Her work with John Grinder, Carmen Bostic and Michael Carroll had ingrained the concepts in her so deep that it has become a part of her. But the mark of an extraordinary trainer is how easily they are able to reach what they know. And in this Ridhima is an above extraordinary NLP Trainer. She works like an open book. Every act, every word, every turn on the training, comes from a very clear intention and she deconstructs it with the participants every time. She also teaches what helps you connect with a larger audience, how to judge who is getting disengaged and how to bring them back.

So, NLP is a technology which is the mother of all concepts, as it is just a codification of what works in any case of success.

And Ridhima is the best trainer in India to learn it from.
